Zkpad is the first launchpad on StarkNet with community quests to reward the key contributors
ZKPad is the first launchpad on StarkNet. This fundraising platform offers a safe and decentralized way for users to invest in pre-selected crypto startups.
StarkNet is a permissionless, decentralized rollup that runs on Ethereum as an L2 network. Due to its reliance on the safest and most scalable cryptographic proof method, STARK. StarkNet allows any dApp to attain indefinite scalability for its computation without compromising Ethereum’s composability and security. A number of major crypto players, including Alchemy and Immutable X, are already using it.
ZkPad can overcome the two major problems, namely the accessibility of zk-Rollups, and the problem of high risk for individuals when making early investments in projects.
Key features of ZkPad
1. On-chain lottery system
The idea is simple — it would be more transparent. Most of the projects are off-chain, which makes them opaque for all users. @Zkpad will provide all calculations on-chain.
First and foremost, the lottery tickets will be tokenized as ERC1155 tokens thus tradable as NFTs on marketplaces such as Oasis. Many people found themselves in situations where they had lottery tickets they didn’t use and therefore were lost. With this system, users will be able to sell their lottery tickets if they are not interested in the upcoming IDO to other users who would potentially like to obtain further allocation in this particular IDO. People can build strategies around this system and share them so the underlying technology can be improved.
2. Tokenised whitelist
For each project listed on ZKPad, ZKP token stackers will receive a whitelist right as NFTs. These NFTs can either give users the right to invest in IDOs on ZKPad or can be resold to another investor.
Tokenised whitelist — the idea is really exciting, because usually when you get whitelisted — you get nothing in the case when you don’t invest at all. But with this concept, you will get NFT, which you can sell to other participants.
3. Managed Market Making
Managing the market making of the tokens for each project will allow ZkPad to control the front-running and eventual “pump and dumps” at the token listing. ZkPad opted for a fixed swap pool system.
4. Optimized Staking Rewards
Staking the ZKP tokens will provide a boosted yield. This will be achieved by leveraging Defi protocols on ZkPad vaults.
Tokenomics
17,5% of the tokens will be sold at the launch of the project, with 5% allocated to the Seed phase, 15% to the private sale, and finally 10% for the public sale.
17,5% will be allocated to the DAO treasury, and will therefore be used according to the decisions of the community, and will allow the development of the project.
20% will be reserved for the different programs aimed at bringing liquidity to the project, whether to form the initial liquidity or for the staking of LPs in our vault, in order to obtain xZKP allowing access to the ZKP ecosystem.
20% for the team and future talented people who will join the ZkPad Labs. 5% for advisors who will help us in designing the best protocol possible and review projects launching on ZkPad.
Release schedule
The team deliberately opted for high inflation at the beginning to create long-term sustainability. Successful DeFi protocols have almost universally implemented high emissions to help bootstrap a community and liquidity. Moreover, the design of the ZKP vaults creates uniquely high rewards for users who are willing to lock up their ZKP for longer periods.
These users will be playing a key role in bootstrapping liquidity for the protocol. This group will prove themselves to be the best stewards of the protocol and therefore the best possible trustees of the DAO.
